The Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has once again stepped up to support communities devastated by the recent floods. According to official reports, the organization has already spent 25 crore rupees on emergency flood relief efforts to help thousands of displaced and struggling families.

Relief for Flood-Affected Families in Pakistan

The funds have been utilized to provide emergency food supplies, clean drinking water, temporary shelters, and medical facilities in the most severely hit regions. Volunteers and local teams have been working tirelessly on the ground to ensure that aid reaches those in need without delays.

Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman highlighted that the situation in flood-hit areas remains critical, as countless families have lost their homes, livestock, and primary sources of income. Many are still searching for safe shelter, while children and elderly people are at high risk due to the lack of clean water and proper sanitation.

Emergency Camps and Medical Assistance

Alkhidmat has established relief camps to serve freshly cooked meals and provide safe shelter for displaced families. In addition, medical teams have been deployed to treat patients suffering from waterborne diseases and flood-related illnesses. Clean water projects have also been launched in areas where contamination has made drinking water unsafe.

Long-Term Rehabilitation Plans

While immediate relief is ongoing, Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman emphasized that long-term rehabilitation will be the real challenge. Rebuilding homes, restoring livelihoods, and ensuring access to education for children in flood-affected areas are top priorities for the Alkhidmat Foundation in the months ahead.

A Call for Collective Support

The Foundation has urged collective efforts from communities, donors, and humanitarian organizations to ease the suffering of affected families. With continued support, Alkhidmat hopes to help families rebuild their lives and return to normalcy after this devastating natural disaster.
