Serene Air Flights Suspended by CAA Over Fleet Non-Compliance
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has suspended all commercial operations of Serene Air, one of Pakistan’s private airlines.
Why Was Serene Air Suspended?
According to an official notification, the airline failed to meet the minimum fleet size requirement set by aviation rules. CAA noted with “grave concern” that the airline currently has no serviceable aircraft available for safe operations.
Due to this, the authority immediately suspended Serene Air’s air operator certificate and directed the airline to surrender its documents for endorsement.
Serene Air’s Response
In a statement, the airline confirmed that its operations are temporarily halted.
> “This is a short-term situation. We are working with authorities and partners to restore services quickly. Our top priority is the safety, comfort, and trust of passengers,” Serene Air said.
The airline added that its team is fully committed to resuming flights as soon as possible.
What’s Next?
The suspension means passengers may face delays and cancellations until Serene Air is able to get its fleet back in service. Travelers have been advised to stay updated through the airline’s official channels.
