Emirates Welcomes All-Women ICC Match Officials for World Cup 2025

Dubai – Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, welcomed an all-women ICC panel of match officials at its headquarters. The officials are traveling to India and Sri Lanka for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, starting on 30 September and running until 2 November.

🌍 A Historic First for Women’s Cricket

This year’s tournament will mark a historic milestone. For the first time ever, all matches in a Women’s 50-over World Cup will be officiated entirely by women match officials.

The panel includes 14 umpires and 4 match referees, representing 10 different countries.

Welcoming the delegation, Boutros Boutros, Emirates’ Executive Vice President for Corporate Communications, said:
