The flood level at Kotri Barrage in Sindh has started to fall after reaching peak flow earlier this week.

According to officials, the barrage recorded more than 420,000 cusecs of water upstream. Outflow downstream towards the Arabian Sea was about 386,000 cusecs.

The barrage remained in a medium flood situation on Saturday but the flow has now begun to reduce.
