PCB Confirms Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025-26 Schedule

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025-26, Pakistan’s premier red-ball domestic tournament.

Tournament Start Date

The event was earlier delayed due to the Hanif Mohammad Trophy, but it will now begin on 6 October 2025 in Abbottabad, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Rawalpindi.

Format and Duration

The competition will follow a single-league round-robin format. A total of 46 matches will be played in nine rounds between 6 October and 26 November.

The final match will be a five-day clash, scheduled from 29 November to 3 December 2025.

Participating Teams

A total of 10 regional teams will compete:

Abbottabad

Bahawalpur

FATA

Faisalabad

Islamabad

Karachi Blues

Lahore Whites

Multan

Peshawar

Sialkot

Teams like FATA, Faisalabad, Karachi Blues, and Multan qualified after strong performances in the Hanif Mohammad Trophy.

The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy has always been the top platform for red-ball cricket in Pakistan. It gives local players a chance to prove themselves and push for national selection. With both rising teams and experienced sides in the mix, fans can expect tough competition and exciting cricket.
