🎓 Punjab Govt Announces Rs.100 Million Cash Prize for Top Schools
The Punjab government has announced a Rs.100 million cash reward for the top 100 best-performing schools across the province’s 36 districts.
Each selected school will receive Rs.1 million for showing outstanding academic and management performance. Both Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) and Punjab Education Initiative Management Authority (PEIMA) schools will be eligible for this award.

🏫 Evaluation Based on Results and Facilities
A third-party evaluation will be carried out to select the top schools.
The assessment will focus on academic results, infrastructure quality, classroom environment, and basic facilities available to students.
The awarded amount can be used by school principals to improve their institutions and benefit their students.

⏸️ School Outsourcing Program Paused
Meanwhile, the third phase of the school outsourcing program has been temporarily paused.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said the process has been halted for two months to allow Phase 2 schools to stabilize before moving forward.
He added that the third phase, which was originally planned to begin on October 5, 2025, will only start once previously outsourced schools are functioning properly.
