Treet Battery Limited (TBL) has signed an agreement with Highstar Digital Energy Technology (Guangdong) Co. Ltd, a well-known Chinese company. The deal will allow TBL to import and sell lithium-ion batteries in Pakistan, according to a notice shared with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

Expanding Beyond Lead-Acid Batteries

This move marks TBL’s entry into the fast-growing lithium-ion battery market. Until now, the company was focused mainly on lead-acid batteries. By stepping into this new market, TBL is looking to expand its business and compete in modern energy solutions.

Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in renewable energy projects, electric vehicles (EVs), and sustainable power systems. With this partnership, TBL aims to support Pakistan’s shift towards clean energy while creating new revenue opportunities.
